Biography
Born in Catania, 21 February 1992. Italian keyboardist, composer, sound designer, media, Nord Keyboards, Algam Eko artist.
He begins with the study of piano at the age of six years old. He holds diplomas in First and Second level in Electronic Music from the Istituto Musicale "Vincenzo Bellini" in Catania. His cultural background ranges from Classical to Jazz, Blues, Funk, R & B, Soul, Synthwave,Pop and Computer Music.
He designs sound libraries compatible with all Nord Keybords products; some sounds he designed for Nord Stage 3 were used on Fiorella Mannoia's album "Personale".
He founded and is administrator of the Facebook group "Nord Keyboards Users", the largest community of Nord Keyboards customers in the world, and is also administrator of the Facebook page "Nord Keyboards Italia".
He was a performer and artistic director of concert seasons, including those of the Istituto Musicale "Vincenzo Bellini" in Catania, in which he staged pieces by the Sonic Arts Union (collective of experimental musicians active between 1966 and 1976), including Larry Austin's "Accidents", electronically prepared for piano, ring modulator, mirrors, actions, black light and projections.
He directed the show "Wobble Message", included in the program "Progetto Kafka - Le Metamorfosi" at the Teatro Machiavelli of the University of Catania, related to the creation of a piece of electronic music generated by numerical data extracted from a video in real time. He published the book" Ear Training" published by Rugginenti, in collaboration with Riccardo Insolia (professor of Ear Training at the Istituto Musicale "Vincenzo Bellini" Catania) and Massimo Leonardi (professor of Ear Training at the Conservatorio Vincenzo Bellini in Palermo).
As part of the "Roma Tre Film Festival", at the Teatro Palladium in Rome, for the "Music and Cinema" section he was keyboardist for the “Rageen" project, by Okies.
He has been professor of the Training Course in Music Production, address "Sound Design for Cinema, Videogames and Cartoon Animation", at Teatro Machiavelli, in the University of Catania.
He was sound designer at "Synth4Cloud", a music software company, for the Nord Keyboards department. He is also endorser for NordKeyboards and Algam EKO companies.
He attended master classes in Ear Training with teachers Valdis Bernhofs (Ladvian Academy of Music - Riga), Violaine De Larminat (Universität Für Musik Und Darstellende Kunst -Wien), Coralie Fayolle (Conservatoire National Superior - Paris), Elke Hofmann(Musik-Akademie- Basel), Alberto Odone (Conservatorio "G. Verdi" - Milan), Ruta Paidere (Hochschule Für Musik Und Theatre - Hamburg), Pierre Zurstrassen (Conservatoire Royal-Brussels).
